Hi, Currently Master has no knowledge about the order in which the region servers would be restarted. Consider this scenario: region R was hosted on RS n. When RS n gets restarted, master assigns R to RS n+1. However, RS n+1 may not have enough time to complete the transition before it is its turn to restart.
Should we enhance rolling restart by informing the master of the order in which the region servers would be restarted ? Cheers
