Hi, This message is fishy, but it the table should be created: it's a warning about the logs. Can you please try to scan (scan "tableName" in the shell) the table to check it does exist?
It could be <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-7468> something around HADOOP-8005? At least, I don't have this on hbase trunk (on linux), even if I try to corrupt the classpath before launching hbase. Cheers, N.
