Hey devs, HBASE-5778 "Turn on WAL compression by default" is almost ready to go. I'm writing to make everyone aware of what comes next and if it's ok:
- The patch for trunk will be lacking all the TestBlahWithCompression and HLog compression will be on by default for everything. - The 0.94 patch will have the WithCompression tests but will not turn on compression by default because you can't roll upgrade/restart with servers that have a different config. I'm planning to do this tomorrow. Sounds good? Thx, J-D
