Current RPC framework is single listener thread with multiple Reader thread,
this is pretty similar with thrift's THsHaServer design. And from thrift0.8,
TThreadedSelectorServer was introduced to meet network-io-bound scenario
better. There's a benchmark report on it:

I think we could make HBaseServer's listener multi-thread as well. Just a raw
thought now, no patch available yet.
