I was just looking at some 0.94 test failures (TestDistributedLogSplitting in 
this case) and found that the specific issue is already fixed in trunk (along 
with a bunch of other improvements).

It is not possible for me to track *every* change that goes into any of the 
other branches to see whether it is applicable to 0.94 or not (that goes for 
tests and real fixes).

Trunk (and 0.96, 0.98) might be where all the cool, shiny, new stuff is, but 
last I looked nobody has any of these in large production use (well definitely 
not trunk :) ).

If you create a patch for any branch please consider whether it is applicable 
to the older branches. This is becoming very frustrating and very 
unproffesional.
