+1 Unit test suite passes 25 of 25 times on JDK 6u45, 7u60, and 8u0.
A performance comparison between 0.98.0 and this candidate shows no significant performance regression, see the email from me sent recently to dev@ titled "Comparing the performance of 0.98.3 RC2 and 0.98.0 using YCSB". Most Ingestion (except ACL, a test issue, see HBASE-11294) and Big Linked List integration tests pass running on a local minicluster. Ran with -Dtest.output.tofile=false in a very large window and watched the output for unexpected messages or errors.
