Currently it seems HBase meta table is designed to just store the regions information. I am planning to store some additional information(not related to regions) to the meta table for the jira ticket HBASE-11699.
Adding this information means, all the dependent apis like MetaAccessor. I am wondering whether this approach is a right one. I wanted to get the opinion from the community on this one. Thanks & Regards,
