Sanjiv, Seems that you have recompiled HBase by yourself, did you also compile Hadoop 1.2 specifying to compile the natives for your OS? are those shared libraries natives correctly deployed under /usr/local/hadoop/hadoop-1.2.1/lib/native/Linux-amd64-64 ?
