Hi Sanjiv, Are you looking to run HBase in standalone mode (all daemons in one JVM) or pseudo-distributed mode (each with its own process, but on one host)? Have you tried following the instructions on http://hbase.apache.org/book.html regarding configurations to switch between the two?
