Need to document in the ref guide how to set/change the region split policy for
a single table user the API and the HBase shell as noted below as an example.
Using Java:
HTableDescriptor tableDesc = new HTableDescriptor("test");
tableDesc.setValue(HTableDescriptor.SPLIT_POLICY,
ConstantSizeRegionSplitPolicy.class.getName());
tableDesc.addFamily(new HColumnDescriptor(Bytes.toBytes("cf1")));
admin.createTable(tableDesc);
Using HBase Shell:
create 'test', {METHOD => 'table_att', CONFIG => {'SPLIT_POLICY' =>
'org.apache.hadoop.hbase.regionserver.ConstantSizeRegionSplitPolicy'}},
{NAME => 'cf1'}
