Yes, let's sink it. 

I dropped offline early yesterday to drive up to central Cali for the weekend 
and missed all of the excitement on HBASE-12782. 

I will put up a new RC by Monday with a vote that closes Wednesday. If a couple 
PMC can help me out by voting on it quickly it will be fine.
