in hbase 0.98.10, we can set hbase to open region with or without zookeeper. to compare open region speed of two ways, we perform a test 606 tables, 90683 regions 1 master, 3 regionservers
we get the open region speed from the log of master and regionservers the result is as follows: useZK: 5-7 min notUseZK : 90 min in the newer version of hbase, code of using ZK to open region are removed, so, the open region speed will be slow down, is there any method to improve this?
