Brining it up again, because I really feel that we should do this. It'll make communicating with community so much easier, both broadcasts and 1-1 pings (with people not in same org). Inside the slack group, we'll also be able to create separate channels for users and dev. For those who haven't tried Slack yet, I am fairly certain that you'll like it. Unless someone says otherwise, I'll go ahead and do this tonight. We'll post a redirect message on existing IRC. I'll update the hbase book too. Thanks
