w.r.t new features, I hope we could also include the below two: 1. AsyncTable (HBASE-15921) 2. Netty-based RpcServer (HBASE-15756 bring up the idea and we'll open new JIRA to make it more specific, which shows great performance gain in our use case here in Alibaba search) Thanks.
