Sounds good.
I was thinking we could put a note in the Reference Guide for this problem.
There are sections on JDK support metrics and Hadoop support metrics (
https://hbase.apache.org/book.html#basic.prerequisites). They are good
places to document this and suggest to use a later version of Hadoop if
needed.  I can open a JIRA to do it.
