I made the shadow RM-img I've been doing of branch-1.3 for the last year and a half official. As of now there are 174 changes in 1.3.3: https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/HBASE/versions/12341748 . I need to run the API compatibility checker and revert what should not be allowed or should not get an exception, and the usual suite of long running tests, so some of these changes may come out, but here's what we have as of now.
branch-1.3 is now closed for commits, please. Technically there are no restrictions, but we don't expect to make any more releases from this branch. If something didn't get in that you think needs to get in, and you have a patch ready to go, mention me on the issue(s) and we can work something out.
