Original discussion on HBASE-22149 indicated interest running HBOSS on Hadoop
2, and HBase itself maintains profiles for Hadoop 2 and 3. There's no
fundamental reason we can't - there are some minor incompatibilities in the
code, but no fundamental mismatch.
