been having issues with hbase-vote on this branch, had to manually run the
last steps,
doesn't look like hbase-vote is in sync across branches, since branch is
EOL, will validate on The
2.1 and 2.2 votes. Not a blocker.

- mvn clean install -DskipTests
ran smallTests profile
* Unit tests pass (1.8.0_222): ok
- mvn test -P runSmallTests
installed on pseudodistributed 2.8.5 Hadoop cluster: OK
Java 1M writes: OK
HBase shell: OK
LTT write 1M: OK
LTT read 20%: OK
Logs: OK
UI: OK
bulk loaded some data: OK but this branch is missing HBASE-21536, not a
blocker since EOL
