Andrew Kyle Purtell reopened HBASE-11288:

Not sure what to do with this one. I am closing issues that have been resolved
through a release or for an extended time (> 1-2 years), and this meets that
critera, but this is definitely an unresolved problem. So, I am going to reopen
this and let it sit in REOPENED state for future spelunkers to decide what to
do.
