Heya, I'd appreciate some extra eyeballs on HBASE-28803. It addresses a "master stuck" scenario via abort. It follows the same model as the behavior of the region server under similar circumstances. I think it's a reasonable approach to addressing the situation, but we don't currently behave this way in response to procedure execution issues.
