Things look great on the server-side. It's going to take a bit of
time (I'd guess no shorter than a month) to hash things out with the
client side. If folks think a month is too long, my guess is that the
client side is stable and the API is ok, but it'll take some using it
to verify that. (If anyone else can verify, that'd be great.)

It is basically ready. Sam asked for more time to ensure the API of
the
new non-blocking protocol handlers was solid. As soon as Sam gives a
nod, I'll call for an official release.
