Oleg Kalnichevski resolved HTTPCLIENT-68.
-----------------------------------------

       Resolution: Won't Fix
    Fix Version/s: (was: 4.0 Alpha 5 )

Most of the HttpClient 4.0 functionality is implemented using pluggable
handlers, which are very easy to override / decorate. There is no need for any
specific API to support timing / performance probing.
