It's rather difficult to see what the actual changes are because of spurious
changes to white space and the addition of the final attributes.
Would it be possible to provide patches that just address the issue raised?
Also, note that HttpCore is currently targetted at Java 1.3+, so relying on the
JVM to optimise String concatenation won't work for all use cases.
