Oleg,

We discovered that something seems to be fatally broken right now, in the sense 
that it is not caching anything. Please hold off integrating this for now. My 
apologies for the false start.

I'll get back to you about it on Monday. It's likely a very small bug, since we 
did at one time have certainty that it WAS working correctly.
