Status report for the Apache HttpComponents project - May 2012
The Apache HttpComponents project is responsible for creating and maintaining a toolset of low level Java components focused on HTTP and associated protocols. Status - Overall the project remains active. Releases - HttpAsyncClient 4.0-alpha3 was released on the 23rd of February 2012 - HttpCore 4.2 was released on the 5th of May 2012. This is a major GA release after multiple beta releases and release candidates Community - The community remains small but active. There is good user interaction on the mailing lists. -- Asankha C.
