Oleg Kalnichevski updated HTTPASYNC-22:
---------------------------------------
Fix Version/s: Future
Clinton,
Ideally transparent content decompression should also work for streaming HTTP
exchanges. This, however, is likely to require a major change in the core I/O
code. I do not think I will have any bandwidth left for this feature in the 4.0
release cycle.

> org.apache.http.impl.client.DecompressingHttpClient should have an nio
> counterpart: DecompressingHttpAsyncClient.
> Since I needed the functionality for my own project, I went ahead and made
> the appropriate changes to DecompressingHttpClient to allow it to decorate an
> HttpAsyncClient.
> I'm attaching the files here, for consideration for a future release.
