Ok, I've triaged the open cache bugs, mostly. I was able to set all the
unresolved ones that didn't have patches to a 'Future' release target, as
none of those result in noncompliant behavior, although they are suboptimal
(e.g. caching something twice or failing to cache something cacheable or
invalidating too aggressively).

There's one issue that Francois-Xavier addressed already and is just
waiting on a review.

All the rest (5) have patches supplied against them and hence just need
detailed review and careful merging. I wasn't able to get to them today and
won't be able to get to them until sometime next week (I had a very recent
death in the family). I was able to review the patches in concept and
approach and I think they are generally ok though, so I don't expect the
review and merging to take long.
