Joe Gamache commented on HTTPCLIENT-1617:
-----------------------------------------
Yes, we looked at that, but the actual code is this:
{code}
if (proxy != null) {
routePlanner = new DefaultProxyRoutePlanner(proxy,
schemePortResolver);
} else if (systemProperties) {
routePlanner = new SystemDefaultRoutePlanner(
schemePortResolver, ProxySelector.getDefault());
} else {
routePlanner = new DefaultRoutePlanner(schemePortResolver);
}
{code}
Since we DO have a Proxy, then the code you site doesn't execute at all (as
'proxy' is not null when you HAVE a proxy) - am I missing something?
> HttpClientBuilder does not utilize http.nonProxyHosts

> The header documentation for HttpClientBuilder.java (in pkg:
> org.apache.http.impl.client) states that when the 'useSystemProperties()'
> method is invoked that system settings for http.nonProxyHosts will be
> honored. However, the code never references that Property, nor does it seem
> that any invoked code references that property. In testing, when that
> property has been set, http calls still go through the Proxy.
> Please fix so that when the property is set, http calls to one of the listed
> hosts does not pass through the Proxy Server.
