Philippe Mouawad commented on HTTPCLIENT-1869:
----------------------------------------------
Hi Oleg,
Oleg : "So far I have seen no evidence that it is a bug at all, let alone
critical."
How would you explain then that:
- For the same application under test, no issue happens with 4.2.6, while it
happens for 4.5.3
- I unfortunately don't have access to the target system, I can attach a log
file with debug mode for wire if you're interested.
Regarding EOFException, javadoc says this, which IMO can be understood by some
developpers that it is a correct way to signal EOF or EO Stream:
"This exception is mainly used by data input streams to signal end of stream.
Note that many other input operations return a special value on end of stream
rather than throwing an exception. "
If fix does not suit you, do you expect me to move the catch in
DeflateInputStream ?
Thanks
I hope you can help on this.
