Folks I made a mistake developing TLS upgrade APIs in both HttpCore and HttpClient, which I am not able to correct without changing some of the existing interfaces. This mistake makes it very difficult to implement HTTP/2 via HTTP/1.1 proxy in HttpClient.
Now I could really make good use of default methods provided by Java 1.8. I think it is time we upgraded to Java 1.8. Would anyone raise an objection?
