Background
I'm facing a version conflict in grpc-java that involves httpclient
[1]. In 4.5.X branch, @ok2c already implemented the change I want in
httpclient 4.5.X (Thanks!) [2], and the branch already has version
4.5.14 release note [3]. However, I don't see the corresponding
artifact in Maven Central [4].

I understand HttpCore upgrade is important for you but there has been no
significant changes in the 4.5.x branch to justify a release.
In any case I will not be able to act as a release manager until May.
Someone else would have to step in while I am away.
