I will be proposing my changes via Merge Request next week, but all the test
cases were passing.
I have added some additional methods in the ConnPool, thus I believe that
nothing should break unless the modes are enabled.
We can further take the discussion on what tests I need to write and how to
proceed on the merge request I will be proposing.
