Thanks for bringing this up! I prefer RTC myself for a number of reasons: It's easier for me to follow development when I get PR notifications, the github PR UI is fantastic. Based on email updates from PR discussion, I can join conversations where I have relevant experience. Even for minor changes, having an open forum to ask questions or provide feedback without necessarily requesting changes is helpful to align on a consistent set of goals. Scrutiny in the industry around software supply chain security may make RTC requirement for some organizations to use our software.
Admittedly I haven't been contributing very much lately because hc has been rock solid in my deployments, but I figured I'd share my thoughts for whatever they're worth. I would be overjoyed to see more projects move from CTR to RTC.
