To me it seems that the latest released version of client (5.5.1) is not compatible with the latest released version of core (5.4). I could not find any documentation on this being the case. Many projects that will try to keep all their dependencies updated will also run into the same issue. Since the version numbers are diverged, it is also not implied by the major version used. Not arguing that this isn't totally fine as there is nothing stating otherwise. Still it would be nice to have that information documented somewhere or provide an alternative way to help users understand the compatibility between the libraries. E.g. by merging the projects and develop/release them together or syncing the version numbers. As I said, I'd be happy to help.
