-1 Sorry to be a kill joy, but I ran into https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDT-44 which stopped me from using the hdfs stuff, so feels like a blocker to me. I added a 0.0.1 version to our jira project, and labelled this appropriately so we have an easy way to track any blocking issues.
