The Podling Project Management Committee (PPMC) for Apache Heron has invited Windham Wong to become a committer and we are pleased to announce that he has accepted.
Windham has been around the Heron repo since 2018. He has made several contributions to the code base. Some notable contributions are around JDK support, Docker enhancements and supporting users through Slack and/or the mailing list. Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is no need to go via the patch submission process. This should enable better productivity and growth of the project. - The Heron Team
