Hi everyone,

My name is Lawrence and I interned on the Real-Time Compute (RTC) team at
Twitter this summer. As one of my internship projects, I worked closely
with Ning to implement a GCC completion hook for Heron's stateful
topologies. This would enable the *end-to-end effective-once* processing
guarantee.

If you are interested in learning more, feel free to check out (and comment
on) my Design Doc
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Shqp2z-uAhsOUN2erbc2d-72wdjA8anp/edit#heading=h.1egqt2p>
as well as my Pull Request
<https://github.com/apache/incubator-heron/pull/3330>.

Thanks so much!

Sincerely,
Lawrence
