Given that the issue does not seem to impact thrift server mode metastore
server, I would like to propose the following approach,
- Make datanucleus version configurable at build time (similar to
hadoop.version). Use 2.0.3 as the default
- Put back the code in listMPartitionsByFilter
With those changes, the behavior of a default build will be what it is today,
but people also has the option to use the partition filtering function.
