@Russell: that would be because of this line in SemanticAnalyzer:
PhysicalContext physicalContext = new PhysicalContext(conf,
getParseContext(), ctx, rootTasks, fetchTask);
Note that getParseContext() is creating a new ParseContext instead of reusing
one. You can fix this by moving the setSemanticAnalyzer(this) call into
getParseContext.
(Also note that the setSemanticAnalyzer thing was just a janky way to see
something working; we need to come up with a better mechanism.)
