Whats the difference between 'event framework' and 'rpc framework'? From your
comments, it seems, you are defining them as follows:

Event Framework = sendMsg()
RPC Framework = sendMsg() + recvMsg()

If this is correct, then are you suggesting to remove recvMsg() api from this
patch and propose it in another jira ?
