Although the patch name conforms to the naming convention, if I understand it 
correctly, the Hive QA will only pick up and test for master branch. So if 
possible, name your patch something like this "HIVE-11233.1.patch" to let it 
run at least for master.

I don't know a good way of running a full set of precommit tests for branches 
other than master. Others may have better idea.
