newer maven surefire has a great feature:
* it is possible to select testmethods by regular expressions...and there are
also improvements in using '#' to address testmethods
i've looked into this earlier...the upgrade is "almost" seemless...i'm already
using 2.19.1, but the spark modules don't really like the empty spark.home
