Hope everyone is well. There have been several requests on the Hive mailing list for a 2.3.7 release[1] I've been working with Adrian Woodhead (aka Mass Dosage) on testing the 2.3 branch. We found two test failures there, which I've posted a patch for at HIVE-23086 [2] (thanks Jésus for the review).
If everyone is agreeable I'll commit the changes to HIVE-23086 and put up a release candidate for Hive 2.3.7.
