Ed,
Are you opposed to it, or just noting that the community didn't accept it
before? If you are opposed, I'm interested to hear why. If it's just, "we
tried this and they didn't take it" I would like to try again.
I think it's very valuable to have the docs under source control, since it
makes it possible to have per version docs.
