Assuming HIVE-4179 is applied, here's the before and after applying this patch
results in terms of union_remove failures:

failures before: 10, 12, 13, 14, 24, 5, 8, 9
failures after: 10, 12, 13

So this one takes care of: 14, 24, 4, 8, 9.
