Long story short I don't think that will work. The script that kicks off these
precommit jobs is shared between a bunch of projects and is generally need of a
re-write. The jira HADOOP-9765 is on my queue.
If you'd like a new run, either:
1) Submit a new patch
2) Click build here entering your jira number as a parameter:
https://builds.apache.org/job/PreCommit-HIVE-Build/ (any committer to any
project can do that)
