hive -e "select * from xxxx where year=2013 and month=11 and day=05 and hour=22"
Logging initialized using configuration in
jar:file:/usr/lib/hive/lib/hive-common-0.12.0.jar!/hive-log4j.properties
FAILED: SemanticException MetaException(message:Filtering is supported only on
partition keys of type string)
and I able to execute the hive -e "select * from xxxx limit 3"
I'm upgraded the Hive from 0.10 to 0.12 and it works in Hive 0.10 .
