Thanks for working on this, [~swarnim].
1. This patch might have an ineligible overlap with HIVE-6411. Does it make
sense to get that in first? Please work with Nevis regarding that.
2. For the generated test code, please make sure that it will not make its way
to the production jars.
3. Avoid trailing spaces/tabs.
4. Please reuse AvroSerde code rather than P&C.
5. Avoid catching individual exception even if the handling of the exception is
the same.
