Greeting, Today Michael Fraedrich reached out to me because I forked his older Pentaho Plugins for AWS SNS and AWS SQS. I told him about Hop and how we are breathing life into the project and that I am collaborating with others to include Hop in a decoupled workflow framework using these AWS components SNS, SQS, and some other cloud glue like AWS Step Functions (that remember state of their tasks). During the conversation, he approved the porting and including of his prior work in Hop.
