I really don't understand why this and even httpd-win.conf are necessary.
httpd-nw.conf and httpd-win.conf are almost identical.  The only
differences are the MPM configuration (which is ifmodule protected
anyway), two default directory names, and the fact that httpd-nw.conf is
missing the configuration for the Norwegian Nynorsk language that was
added recently.

That last point really emphasizes in my mind why it's bad to have all
these files separate... it's easy for them to get out of sync.

httpd-win.conf only differs from httpd-std.conf in minor ways as well.
The biggest differences again are in default directory names.  IMO a
comment or two would fix that problem right up.

What gives?
